Terms of Service
Last updated: October 5, 2026
1. The video detection service
These terms govern your use of AI Video Detector, including video upload, AI-generation detection, saved reports, and account services. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not submit content or use the service.
You must have the legal capacity to use the service. Users below the age of majority must have the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian where permitted. Keep your account information accurate and protect your sign-in credentials. Notify support if you suspect unauthorized account activity.
2. Uploads and permissions
You retain your rights in the videos you upload. You give us the limited permission needed to store, transmit, preview, and process those videos through our infrastructure and detection providers, and to return and retain your requested reports.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions to submit a video, including its voices, faces, and other personal information. Do not use the service to infringe privacy or copyright, distribute unlawful material, harass people, commit fraud, or evade access controls. Do not upload child sexual abuse material, malware, or other prohibited illegal content.
Each video is an independent task. A batch accepts up to 12 videos, each up to 30 minutes and 400 MB. Browser preview support depends on the codec. Processing can fail if a file cannot be downloaded or decoded; supported formats and limits may change with the service.
3. Meaning and limits of results
A “Suspected” conclusion means the returned evidence includes an AI-generation label or metadata signal. “No” means no such signal was identified in the available valid results. Incomplete evidence may be reported as unavailable. None of these outcomes is a guarantee of authenticity or a forensic certification.
Video frames are sampled according to the configured policy. Visual and audio results can differ, and a label score applies to its specific sample or segment, not the entire video. Edited, compressed, mixed-source, or unfamiliar content may produce false positives or false negatives.
Use reports with source material, context, and human review. Do not present the result as definitive proof of wrongdoing or rely on it alone for decisions with significant consequences for another person. The service checks content; it does not generate or translate videos.
4. Task status and saved reports
Detection is asynchronous and depends on storage and detection-provider availability. A submitted task may remain pending, fail, or have an uncertain submission status. Do not repeatedly submit an uncertain task without checking its existing record.
My Video provides access to saved tasks and completed reports. Removing a record from the list immediately hides it and schedules permanent deletion of the source video and report after 10 days. Contact support for other deletion requests. Download reports you need for your own records; temporary media links may expire.
The current interface retrieves pending results while a detection page or My Video is open. Return promptly to retrieve unfinished results within the detection provider’s availability window. Displayed elapsed time includes waiting and query intervals and is not pure analysis time.
5. Plans, payments, and refunds
Prices, billing periods, and included entitlements are those shown at checkout. Account credit plans do not currently determine video detection charges or increase the provider’s detection capacity. Purchasing credits does not promise a fixed number of video checks unless an offer explicitly says so.
Subscriptions may renew according to the terms shown at purchase. Cancel through the account’s billing controls before renewal if you do not want another billing period. Cancellation and refunds are different; refund requests are governed by the Refund Policy and any mandatory rights that apply.
6. Availability, restrictions, and changes
We may restrict access to investigate misuse, protect accounts, address technical failures, or meet legal obligations. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or error-free detection. Where permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by treating a detection report as a guarantee or by using the service contrary to these terms.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact support first about service disputes so we can investigate the relevant task or payment. Changes will be posted with an updated date, and material changes may be communicated through the service.
